centre, maybe for his position in Ostuni coast. His name was "Petrolla"
and once time ago his historic importance was made by his good
position of landing port where there is a small fortress of the
of the foureenth century.
From the immensity of sandy shores you arrive to the creeks of "Gorgognolo"
above all "Costa Merlata", that takes his name by the shape of
the rocks.
Then "Santa Lucia" and continuing towards "Torre Pozzella", made
up of small bay and a guardtower of the foureent century.
The last coast of ostuni is Lamaforca a beautiful beach with
white sand and a famous international touristic village called "Valtur".
